Environmental Sustainability
- DEVELOP copiers can be put into various ‘Power save’ modes to reduce energy consumption and power costs. Either use the ‘Power save’ button on the operation panel, or we can program the machine to automatically go into power save mode.
- Induction Heating Fusing technology is usedto reduce power consumption. Heat is required to fuse the toner to paper. In conventional machines which use halogen lamps, this process accounts for more than 60 per cent of total power use. Induction heating, similar to what is used by induction cooktops, more efficiently converts electric power to heat, shortening warm-up times and, therefore, reducing the amount of power required.
- The latest range of DEVELOP copiers can also automatically delete blank pages, therefore, avoiding unnecessary copying or printing and wasted paper.
- Copiers in the new DEVELOP ineo+ range are mainly made of recycled plastic while the packaging that our machines are delivered in is fully recycled. Pallets and polystyrene are picked up by GDP Industries. Cardboard is sent to the City of Greater Geelong recycling service.
